Title: AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 27-65-75, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT SALES TAX COLLECTED THROUGH THE USE OF DIRECT PAY PERMITS SHALL BE INCLUDED THE CALCULATION OF THE AMOUNT REQUIRED TO BE DIVERTED TO MUNICIPALITIES; TO AMEND SECTION 27-67-31, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO REQUIRE 18-1/2% OF THE USE TAX REVENUE COLLECTED EACH MONTH FROM RESIDENTS OF A MUNICIPALITY SHALL BE PAID TO SUCH MUNICIPALITY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
